Hindu and Catholic are but two who use beads on a string for meditation. They share a common method for inducing mental states, a common practice for contemplation
So fundamentally different in the metaphysics they profess to see, how is it that when it comes to practice, they agree?
It seems the human condition transcends the metaphysics we conjure. In every myth there is a thread of truth, every practice we hold on to has its nurturing qualities. Seeing these broadly, we can begin to sift through local issues and find the threads that run through the fabric of humanity.
