Erik Moore

Erik Moore founded the Conscious Art™ movement in
the late 1980s with the publication of the first Conscious
Art™ manifesto.  He has taught art at various colleges
and universities for over 10 years.  He holds an MFA
from the University of Florida and a BFA & AAS in
photography from Rochester Institute of Technology, NY.

His artwork deals primarily with the interpretation of
intellectual and cultural traditions around the globe.  The
process of making art for him is an interactive process of
learning and sharing that he hopes can contribute to
greater human understanding awareness.
